How it works
Your AI. Their AI. One shared project.
Each of you keeps the AI you already use. Kunobi gives the work you choose to share one place, so both AIs can build on it, catch what doesn’t add up and remember what you decided.
Kunobi is in development. This page explains how it’s designed to work; we’re onboarding a small group first.

Step by step
From two private chats to one shared project
Start a project and invite someone
You start a shared project, or ask your AI to, and invite the person you’re working with. They join with the AI they already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or another.
Choose what crosses
Only what you put in becomes shared: a note, a file, a finding, a decision. Your other chats, your files and your passwords stay on your side.
Your AIs build on the same work
You keep talking to your own AI, in the app you already use. Kunobi plugs into it through the connections it already supports, so there’s no new chat window. Both AIs read the shared project and add what they find, with who said it and when.
Disagreements show up early
When two findings don’t match (a 60‑day refund promise against a 30‑day contract, say), Kunobi flags it instead of quietly keeping one. Nothing gets overwritten.
You decide, and it’s remembered
People settle the trade-off. The decision is saved with the project, so both AIs start from it next time, and it’s flagged for a second look if the facts behind it change.
Where your work lives
What Kunobi keeps for you is stored as files on your own machine. A shared project syncs directly between the people in it, encrypted, with no Kunobi server holding the content. Backup and sync across your own devices are optional and have their own settings. If Kunobi ever disappears, your files are still there, and still readable.
What Kunobi isn’t
- Not a new chatbot. You keep using ChatGPT, Claude or whichever AI you prefer.
- Not a pipe that copies whole chats from one AI to another. Only what you choose crosses.
- Not a pool where everyone’s private notes get merged. Each person’s side stays theirs.
- Not a manager handing out tasks to AIs. People decide; the AIs help.

Questions about how it works
Do we need to use the same AI?
No. One of you can use Claude and the other ChatGPT. Kunobi connects whichever AI each person already uses.
Can the other person see my chats?
No. They see only what you put into the shared project. Your conversations, your other files and your passwords stay on your side.
Does it replace ChatGPT or Claude?
No. You keep talking to your own AI in the app you know. Kunobi works underneath, giving it the shared project to build on.
Do I have to set up anything technical?
No. You install one app, once, and set it up by talking to your AI. There are no settings to fill in for each tool.
